By using this website and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS We are committed to providing high-quality products. We accept returns for faulty or damaged items. Faulty Products Return faulty goods within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or replacement. After 30 days, but within six months, we may offer a repair or replacement. If that's not possible, you're entitled to a full refund. After six months, you must prove the fault existed at delivery. A product is faulty if it: - Is not of satisfactory quality. - Is not fit for its intended purpose. - Is not as described. This policy excludes damage from: - Normal wear and tear. - Misuse or improper handling. - Accidental damage after delivery. - Third-party modifications or repairs. Non-Faulty Returns We do not accept returns for unwanted items. Any items sent without prior return authorisation will not be accepted. Return Process - Contact Us: Within the above timeframe, contact us via our Contact Us form or hello@fursandfables.com. Provide your order number, fault details, and your preference for a refund or replacement. - Authorisation: We will issue return authorisation and instructions. - Packaging: Securely package the product, ideally in the original packaging. - Shipping: For faulty items, we will cover return shipping. - Resolution: We will process your refund or replacement promptly upon receiving and confirming the fault. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
PRODUCTS AND ORDER INFORMATION All our items are handmade and may have slight variations, which are inherent in the creative process and should not be considered defects. We strive to display Products accurately. However, colours may vary depending on your screen. Contact us with any questions before purchasing. All orders are subject to our acceptance. We may refuse orders due to Product unavailability, pricing/description errors, or suspected fraud. Prices are displayed on the Website and may change without notice. Payment is due at the time of order. We accept PayPal and most major cards Payment plans are managed by third-party companies (e.g., PayPal). Contact them directly for any changes, as we only have access to billing addresses. You will receive order confirmation via email. You may trade, gift, or resell items, but not for profit (i.e., above the price you originally paid for the item). Profiteering will result in a ban. Selling/trading before dispatch is considered trade-baiting and will result in a refund and ban.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY Shipping costs and estimated times are displayed at checkout. We are not liable for carrier delays. Processing time is typically 2-3 business days for in-stock items. You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, and other shipping fees associated with your order. Items ship after full payment has been received. Orders are posted weekly from the UK via Evri (Tracked) and Royal Mail International (for non-UK orders). For lost orders, we will file a claim. This may take up to six weeks. If your order is lost, we will file a claim and do our best to keep you informed of its status. Refunds or replacements will only be issued once the claim process is complete. You can then choose a refund or, if possible, a replacement. We ship to the address provided. You are responsible for redelivery costs if the address is incorrect.
CUSTOM ORDERS Request custom orders via hello@fursandfables.com or our Contact Us form. Design, price, and timelines will be agreed upon in writing before work begins. Design revisions may incur additional fees. Production begins after a custom order is placed via our webstore. For fursuits and other large commissions, a non-refundable deposit is typically required. This deposit covers one-third of the estimated labor cost and all materials. The remaining estimated labor cost is payable in two equal installments: one at the two-thirds completion point, and the final instalment upon completion. Any deviations from this deposit amount and payment schedule will be discussed and agreed upon during the design discussion phase. Custom order cancellations may not be refunded if production has begun. Material costs will be deducted from refunds if materials have already been purchased for the order. Proof of purchase is available upon request. Significant design revisions include, but are not limited to, changes to the primary colour scheme, the addition of complex features not initially discussed, or a complete redesign of a major component. Two rounds of minor revisions are typically included in the initial price. Further revisions will be quoted on a case-by-case basis. We will provide progress updates on your custom order at the same milestones as the payment instalments: at the two-thirds completion point. We can also provide more frequent updates if requested and agreed upon upfront. You will have the opportunity to approve the final product (e.g., via photos) before it is shipped. Furs and Fables retain artistic rights. The intellectual property of custom designs remains with Furs and Fables, and we reserve the right to resell items based on those designs, unless the customer expressly requests in writing that we do not do so. You are responsible for providing accurate measurements and details for custom orders.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Products are provided without any warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to your use of the Website or Products. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific Product in question.
